Attending congresses is a wonderful way for us to spread the word about what we are doing, and to encourage people to join us – both by watching our webinars and by presenting in them.

The last weekend in August was the 54^th Annual Congress of the South African Society for Surgery of the Hand (SASSH), held at Kievits Kroon Estate in Pretoria. The programme was packed full of interesting paper presentations and guest speakers sharing from their extensive expertise.

Nicola had the opportunity to share about Open Hand during a paper presentation. When we presented at the same congress last year we had only held two webinars. It was a privilege to share about how Open Hand has grown since then, and to experience the interest and support from the South African hand surgery and therapy community! So many reasons to be grateful!
