We each bring unique experiences and skills to a project that allows us to follow our shared passion of taking hand therapy education to low resource contexts to improve the lives of patients with hand injuries.

Here are some things you might not know about us: 1. Open Hand is built on Kirsty’s Masters and PhD research into the needs of novice and generalist therapists providing hand therapy services. 2. The ideas for the format and structure of Open Hand came from Nicola, a webinar addict with a passion for contextually relevant educational resources. 3. Erica spent 3 years working as a generalist therapist in a rural hospital, and brings a deep understanding of the challenges that many of you face.
