Open Hand visits Arusha, Tanzania

This month saw another opportunity for Open Hand to travel to new destinations!

Erica attended the OTARG (Occupational Therapy Africa Regional Group) congress in Arusha, Tanzania from 24 to 27 June, and had a wonderful time connecting with OTs from all over Africa. Although we didn’t have an Open Hand presentation in the programme, she had plenty of opportunities to share the word about what we are doing. It was also lovely to meet some of the Namibian therapists who are regulars at our webinars!

After the congress she spent some time exploring the culture and beauty of Arusha, including visiting Materuni Waterfall, shopping at the central market and going on a local coffee making tour.
